About the event
We are so excited to invite your children along to two July school holiday programs! With the support of the Shine On Foundation, we are pleased to offer two options for secondary school level students – there’s something for everyone these holidays. Children are welcome to attend either or both programs.
Snack Attack
This is a one day program for secondary school aged students to come together and put their kitchen skills into action to make nutritious, easy to prepare snacks.
The aims of this program are for the students to develop basic food preparation skills including: cutting, mixing and measuring, confidence is using heated appliances and organisational skills such as how to follow steps and a recipe.
When: Tuesday 5 July
Time: 9.45 am arrival for a 10 am start. Parents can arrive from 3.30 pm for a 4 pm finish.
Location: Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre, “The Cottage”. 157 Union Road, Surrey Hills, Victoria.
The Cottage can be accessed on foot through the front gate of the centre, or through the car park on Bedford Avenue.
RSVP: Email or call our Customer Service Team at reception@guidedogsvictoria.com.au or 1800 804 805 with which camp(s) your child would like to attend by Monday 20 June. Once you have registered, an application pack will be sent to you to complete.
Cost: $420.
Live It Up
Live It Up is a one day program that is all about you and a chance to live it up! Learn the basics about how to take care of your teenage self, to stay positive and feel better equipped to cope with your day. Students will have the chance to explore a range of tools to sustain mental and physical health so that they can be their best selves.
When: Wednesday 6 July
Time: 9.30 am arrival for a 10 am start. 3 pm finish.
Location: Holmes HQ. 20 Ross Street, South Melbourne.
RSVP: Email or call our Customer Service Team at reception@guidedogsvictoria.com.au or 1800 804 805 with which camp(s) your child would like to attend by Monday 20 June. Once you have registered, an application pack will be sent to you to complete.
Cost: $420.
Programs and Camps can be funded under a number of different line items. When applying to attend you will be asked to confirm how you will pay.
