Betty Amsden OAM was a philanthropist and steadfast supporter of Guide Dogs Victoria whose unwavering commitment to empowering people with low vision or blindness left a notable mark on the Victorian community.

Enriched with the spirit of community, the Betty Amsden Education Centre is a modern, purpose-built space designed with accessibility in mind.

Accommodate up to 100 people for meetings and conferences, seminars and workshops, exhibitions, or celebrations of any occasion and take advantage of a dedicated reception, servery kitchen, accessible toilets and outdoor BBQ area, plus state-of-the-art tech and facilities.

Nestled within the leafy heart of Kew – a mere stone’s throw from the iconic Yarra Trail – our historic site has been the home of Guide Dogs Victoria since 1962.The ideal location for any offsite, team building or development days, events and more; book an exclusive and unforgettable experience for your entire team.

Our residential accommodation or ‘urban village’ space seamlessly blends comfort and accessibility, creating an environment where every sensory need is met with practicality and style. Picture yourself in a haven where the layout is intuitive, navigation is effortless, and every detail is designed with comfort in mind. Our inclusive and welcoming space ensures that all guests can maximise and enjoy their time here, with every feature tailored to enhance mobility and joy.

We have nine rooms available for overnight stays on campus. Seven can be arranged for either single or double occupancy, while the remaining two feature queen beds.
