Meet Mr Walker.

Allow me to introduce myself.

The Tales of Mr. Walker

As an official ambassador for Guide Dogs Victoria, I greet guests with a warm, furry welcome – and some of them even take me on walks! But the best part of my job is spreading the word about Guide Dogs Victoria to people from all over the world.

My life at the Park Hyatt (or the ‘Bark Hyatt’ as I like to call it!) is so exciting, Penguin Random House have written a book about it! It’s called, ‘The Tales of Mr. Walker’.

The book has a collection of stories about my pawsome adventures at the hotel… and the illustrations make me look very handsome too!

Park Hyatt Melbourne’s first-ever canine ambassador

After being trained by Guide Dogs Victoria, I was fur-tunate to become Park Hyatt Melbourne’s first-ever canine ambassador. I use my people skills to bring a new level of comfort at the hotel. I also help raise awareness about the impawtant role Guide Dogs play in the lives of people with blindness or low vision.

We’d love your suppawt

It takes about two years and about $50,000 to prepare a dog for their higher pawpose; transforming the lives of people with low vision or blindness. There are lots of ways you can suppawt dogs like me from donations, to volunteering and puppy sponsorship. Every bit helps!
