Join the Guide Dogs Victoria Volunteer community and be part of our mission to support Victorians with low vision or blindness by creating a warm and welcoming environment for visitors to our Kew campus.
We are recruiting for a newly created role of Visitor Support Volunteer. Visitor Support Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring that visitors to Guide Dogs Victoria have an experience that is warm, approachable, friendly, compassionate and professional. They will also support the Customer Service team with the running of our new retail space.
Role Requirements

This is a commitment of one shift per week, for a minimum of 6 months. This role will be available Monday- Friday, 10am- 4pm, and shorter shifts will be considered depending on amount of interest.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer at Guide Dogs Victoria. All volunteers in this role will need a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a current Working with Children check.
As this is a Client facing role, volunteers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, in line with Guide Dogs Victoria policy.
