About the event
Client Connect sessions are a great opportunity to make new friends and chat with other people who live with low vision or blindness. Staying connected with others is extremely important for maintaining good mental health.
The Zoom sessions are coordinated by Guide Dogs and facilitated by a group member. They run for one hour and may be either a general chat or focused on a particular topic that 8is of interest to Clients with low vision or blindness.
A reminder notice will be sent in the 24 hours before each session with the Zoom link or dial-in options through which to join the group chat. Clients can also ask to be dialled into the chat if they are unable to connect independently.
Our vision for regional Clients is to make sure that regardless of your physical location, you still have the opportunity to be a part of discussions and activities with other people living with low vision or blindness. So please – come along, join in the conversation, and help us create a more connected community!
