Counselling can be beneficial for:
- People adjusting to a recent change in vision
- People experiencing a gradual change in vision
- People with long standing low vision or blindness
- People who are preparing to receive their first Guide Dog, or transitioning to a new Guide Dog

Counselling is about providing you with a supportive environment to navigate the emotional, psychological and practical challenges associated with living with vision loss.
Adjusting to living with vision loss may involve processing grief, adapting to new ways of living and possible feelings of isolation and anxiety.
Our counselling team provide a safe space to express emotions, develop coping strategies, and explore ways to maintain independence and quality of life. Additionally, they can offer guidance on accessing resources and supports in your local community.
