Run Melbourne 2026: Run for Independence with Guide Dogs Victoria
For people who are blind or have low vision, everyday activities many of us take for granted, like walking to the local shops or catching public transport, can be as challenging as running a half marathon.
That’s why Guide Dogs Victoria is proud to be part of Run Melbourne 2026 on Sunday 19 July, giving supporters the chance to turn every step into life-changing impact.
By running for Guide Dogs Victoria, you’ll be helping to break down barriers and create greater independence for people with low vision or blindness across Victoria. Whether you’re chasing a personal best in the Half Marathon or taking on your very first 5.5km Fun Run, your participation will help fund essential services that empower people to live the lives they choose.

Orientation and Mobility services, helping people move safely and confidently at home, at work and in their communities

Specialist support for children, ensuring children with low vision or blindness get the strong start they deserve, setting them up for independence as they grow
