Iain Edwards to take on the role of Interim CEO of Guide Dogs Victoria
At Guide Dogs Victoria, our Clients come first in everything we do, and the continuity of services and support for Victorians with low vision or blindness is our number one priority.
The Guide Dogs Victoria Board of Directors has decided that Iain Edwards will step down from his current role as Board Chair for a short period and take on the role of Interim CEO of Guide Dogs Victoria.
Iain will commence as Interim CEO on 20 June, and remain in the role for up to six months while a recruitment process is undertaken to appoint a new CEO. Board Director and Vice Chair, David Cochrane, will be taking on the role of Acting Board Chair during this time.
Acting CEO, Charlie Spendlove, will return to her key role as Head of the Marketing and Communications Centre of Excellence across Guide Dogs Victoria and Guide Dogs NSW/ACT from 20 June. The Board sincerely thanks Charlie for her exemplary leadership during this time.
