About the event

Join us for a special wellbeing workshop designed for adults living with blindness or low vision, where we’ll explore the real meaning of self-care and how it can make a positive difference in our everyday lives.
Together, we’ll dive into the key elements of self-care, with plenty of time for reflection on what they mean for you personally.
You’ll also have the chance to connect with others, share experiences, and engage in calming, practical exercises like guided breathing and meditation.
This session will be led by Kate Meadows, a passionate and experienced facilitator who has spent many years teaching about the importance of mental health and wellbeing. We’ll also hear from individuals with lived experience, who will share their own journeys to improving wellbeing.
Whether you’re just beginning to think about self-care or looking for new ideas, this workshop offers a welcoming, supportive space for learning, connection, and growth.
