Don’t “Make It Up” Program – Session 1

Expressing yourself through make up can be daunting if you don’t know where to start. Guide Dogs Victoria’s “Don’t Make It Up” program aims to support Clients with low vision or blindness to learn how to choose products, skin preparation, skin care, makeup application, use of different makeup and removing makeup, with makeup products generously donated by our long-standing national partner, Coles.

Our Occupational Therapy team will host two half day sessions in July 2024. These sessions are open to all Clients, all gender identities and makeup skill levels. You are welcome to attend one or both days.

This is a great opportunity to engage with peers and explore new skills to start or fine tune your makeup journey.

If you are unsure which day to attend or cannot attend both days, it is encouraged to attend the first day on the 5^th of July to get the most out of your learning and experience.

Date: Day 1 – Friday 5 July, Day 2 – Friday 12 July

Time: Both days run from 9am – 1pm

Location: Guide Dogs Victoria, 2-6 Chandler Highway, Kew 3101

Age Group: Anyone over the age of 14.
