Tools to support independence

  • Smart glasses and specialist training: State-of-the-art smart glasses that use cutting-edge technology to experience the world around you. Hands-free and voice-controlled allowing for real-time audio descriptions, translation and assistance, allowing Clients to simplify everyday tasks and accessibility.
  • Genetics and health screening, and technology advancement: This project focuses on funding Guide Dogs Victoria’s comprehensive genetic and health screening program and exceptional veterinary care for our breeding dogs, ensuring each puppy born is set up for a successful future. Ensure the healthiest start for every puppy by making a meaningful contribution towards research in genetics and puppy health, strengthening the quality and longevity of our program.
  • AndroScope: A mobile breeding material analysis unit that will greatly advance our ability to analyse and record data on breeding material. Currently, we do not have software to analyse this for us, it is done manually.
