Guide Dogs Victoria is hosting School Holiday Program for children in primary school aged 8–12 years old. The program combines fun, education, and hands-on experiences with Guide Dogs to inspire kindness, empathy, and responsible pet ownership.
This experience will give children the chance to:
- Meet and interact with Guide Dog puppies
- Learn responsible pet care through age-appropriate workshops
- Engage in fun games and activities using blindfolds and vision simulators
- Watch a Guide Dog demonstration
- Conservation with a Guide Dog Handler
- Plenty of craft making activities
The program will run as a full-day (9:00 AM–3:30 PM) at a cost of $130 inc. Children are required to bring their own lunch and snacks for the duration of the day, Guide Dogs will not be providing any food on the day
There are two dates available;
Thursday the 9th of July, or
Friday the 10th of July
