Guide Dogs Victoria currently has a vacancy for an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Relationship Coordinator – Gifts in Wills, on a permanent, full time basis.

In this role you will be responsible to:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of legacy donors through phone calls, visits and other engagement activities.
  • Implement and execute activity schedules including communications, visits, events and telemarketing in accordance with Business Plans and targets
  • Provide legacy giving options to donors, and ensure appropriate stewardship of legacy donors.
  • Work with other team members to incorporate legacy giving as a key component of the strategic fundraising plan.
  • Support and attend events, donor functions and assist in the creation of marketing and communication materials for the program.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in Gifts in Wills, or a fundraising, sales or marketing role with a relationship building or account management focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with prospective and current legacy donors with skill, tact, discretion and compassion.
  • Experience working in a CRM (preferably Salesforce), and knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work the occasional evening or weekend is essential.
  • A commitment to live the Values and Behaviours of Guide Dogs ;
  • A strong client and customer focus and a commitment to person-centered service practices; and
  • A strong alignment with the vision of Guide Dogs in delivering independence to people with low vision or blindness.
